The food prices are fine for what you get...which is 👍
No. Stand alone building, yellow sign.
I think so, why?
Yes they do. I believe it is from 3-6 m-f.
Mexican cuisine with a New Mexico accent - hatch chilies, hotter, no fajitas, etc. Homemade dishes from a wonderful chef who didn't know the meaning of "mild". Excellent service and value. If you don't need everything smothered in cheese and sour cream, check this place out. It's great.
I've eaten at 3 out of 4 Los Dos Molinos (i'm counting the closed Ahwatukee site) locations now, and I love each location's machaca. It's great in a chimichanga or stacked enchilada dinner; the smokey pepper spice flavor is outstanding. However, uptown's machaca is the best of all the locations. It's got intense flavor matched against the exact amount of spice necessary without getting carried away. If you're looking for spicy AND flavorful food, you can't go wrong with Los Dos Molinos. If you're not interested in spicy, well, Culvers is right down the street :)
Super authentic New Mexican food. The Adovada pork ribs in red Chile sauce were unreal. Everytime I'm in Phoenix I try to make it to Los Dos.
I was greeted once I walked in . Great service Jenna was amazing she offered samples . I enjoyed the prickley pear margarita.
Had to grab a quick lunch today so I stopped here for the first time. Shredded beef burrito was excellent. Service very good too. Bar looked cozy and relaxing. Will be back.
Where to start... Well the staff was awesome. The waiters were very attentive and knowledgeable on the food. The place seemed lively and upbeat. You can tell the waiters and waitresses enjoy talking about the food because it's something they enjoy to eat as well. If you know what I mean. I had a two year old and they treated him like family. Loved this place and will definitely come back. Oh and last but not least the food was amazing. I had the pork pozole and it was one of the best I've ever had. Thanks again Los Dos Molinos it was a great experience.
My wife and I were in Phoenix, for a couple days, and, I had to stop in at Los Dos Molinos, for lunch, and let me tell you, it's the same, AWESOME food, that it's always been!, I remember eating at Los Dos, since I was 14 years old, in Springerville, AZ, EVERY chance I got, and, Victoria would ALWAS, give me a FREE sopapilla, the food was GREAT, then, and it still is today!, I can see, that her daughters, and grand-daughters, inherited the same talent, for cooking!, The is NO other place, that you will AUTHENTIC new Mexican food like this!, I will DEFINITELY be back again, the next chance I get, Pablo, R Espinop67@gmail, and Familiar, (and, a Thank you, to Reyna, for the time you took, to speak to me, about the WONDERFUL memories, I have of your Grandmother, and Grandfather, Eddie, and Victoria Chavez,)
Say outside for lunch. We loved their new Mexico style salsas and my wife said their chilaquiles were the best she had. The thick tortillas were great too. Highly recommend a stop after a hike in the southern mountains.
It's like being in Las Cruces... only better!!
You can count on Los DosIt has always been good and still is!
Chilie Relleno was outstanding and the chips and salsa were very good too.
This is a good place to go for traditional Mexican plates. The ambience is nice, the staff is friendly and the food is pretty good. I recommend coming here during the middle of the day when it's not so busy.
Found this place by chance and was pleasantly surprised with amazing food and drinks. Definitely will be back for more
This place is not to be missed! Look at the sheer size of that margarita! It's as big as a Kleenex box! The green chili here is legendary. I wasn't sure this location would hold a candle to the original by South Mountain, but it certainly does, both in ambiance and quality of service and food/Bev. This is a "must visit" spot for your out of town guests and we locals alike.
Went with my son. Food is excellent. Seating was terrible.i understand social distancing but it is poor business sense when you seat somebody at a table where the customer is not happy about and you insist that is the best you can . Instead of getting a repeat customer and strong recommendation, you get only a three star for the food and a 1 star for how to treat a customer.
Great family owned business. Authentic recipes especially for those that like it hot. The decor includes collections of unusual art from Mexico and the Southwest.
Really was expecting something good from this place. Unfortunately it was extremely unsanitary and the service was really horrible. The waiter was rude when we asked him to change tables because there was ash falling into our food from the ventilator that was outside. Also found a piece glass in my cup and when we informed our waiter about it he did not seem concerned at all. Such a disappointing experience at a beautiful restaurant.
I enjoyed the time I spent here. The food was very good but more than that I loved the atmosphere. Glad to see it full and everyone seemed to having fun. Your restaurant was a fun place to be.
Some of the best Tex Mex food in Phoenix. Do yourself a favor and go here.
Simply Awesome! I've been going to Los Dos Molinos for over 25 years! If you like hot tasty salsa, this is the place! #5 Green is my Favorite. 😎
My family loves Los Dos for the incredible flavor and fun atmosphere (hundreds of treasures on the walls/ceilings). If you like spicy, their family recipes with New Mexican chilis make the most plain dishes (like burritos) the most flavorful experience you’ve ever had. The Adovada pork enchiladas with the homemade corn tortilla and fried egg is fantastic. They also have non spicy kid friendly options - my kids loved the shredded beef tacos, rice & beans. Definitely recommend for everyone. We came all the way from NY to enjoy Los Dos again!
Located next door to AAA repair shop so perfect place to be while waiting... This is a NEW MEXICO restaurant for sure! And that means spicy hot! Not for the faint of heart 🤭 I chickened out on a spicy dish, had the crispy shredded beef taco, delicious.. I loved the decorations and they have a patio for the perfect AZ nights
First time at this location and really great experience. Hostess was friendly as was our server. He made sure we knew what we were ordering and asked us questions to help make tasty choices!!! At the recommendation of staff i ordered the frozen margarita..its the strongest margarita they offer.. so strong you are only allowed 2 per person. After drinking this one, I believe them! Chips were good too. A second bowl of chips was complementary whereas the south phx location charges.. not sure why there is discrepancy but the service at this location will have me choose this spot over the other any day
Great dive bar with awesome food. I was perfectly spicey. The salsa and chips definitely stood out as a winner.
Shredded beef taste like it was marinated in salt. The beans taste like they were straight out of a can. Their rice tastes like cheese and their house Margarita is straight house. Like a house that was condemned run down neighborhood. Straight nasty house margaritas. I'm surprised they're still in business.
Wonderfull, flavor perfect amount of heat.As someone who has spend a lot of time in New Mexico, this place hits close to home, everything was fantastic and I will happily return again with an empty belly, and leave with a stuffed belly, and plenty of leftover for another meal.Come here if you like authentic spicy food, you will come here hungry and leave satisfied:-)
Love this place! Amazing food and awesome staff.. have been coming here for years.. never a let down
Amazing food! Rivals restaurants in New Mexico, salsa is hot and the food is great...good to have the taste of home in Phoenix.
Home of my FAVORITE chimichangas and the BEST red salsa. If you like your salsa spicy and flavorful, you'll love the salsa at Los Dos Molinos. I just wish we had something like this in Chicago. We always go here whenever we visit Phoenix, and we'll often eat here every other day when we visit. It's that good!
Such good flavor
This place is always solid for New Mexican food. It's spice is off the charts so don't go if you can't handle the heat, but if you can the staff is always amazing and friendly and the food is great.
Be warned.... Spicy should be their middle name. Everything from the salsa served with the chips to most of the entrees are well spiced. I am a fan of spicy dishes, but know when the menu shows a chili pepper and references the dish as spicy, they are not joking. We had a large party of 9 plus a highchair and were seated right away on a Friday night. Our server was good and kept the chips filled. Order was processed pretty quick by the kitchen and the food came out right. I would encourage you to look at your check as with most places, they add an auto grat for large parties, but did not see that posted anywhere. Not a big deal, but be careful.
I will never order a chicken taco salad from you again! No lettuce - soggy tortilla- All chicken meat and bland beans!!! Terrible I only order to support your business but this is my last takeout with you guys. I will come in when you are open for business. But you got to get rid of that chicken taco salad off your menu-it wasn’t worth the money and I felt ripped off. I did like the jalapeño margarita and my husband liked his burrito but I am done with the takeout
The adobada burrito dinner is my favorite meal of all. They also have the best salsas, both the red & green are spicy & delicious.
I ordered the Mexican Pizza. It was a little to spicy for me but was super delicious.
Great service, HH margaritas are very bitter and pretty terrible but the regular margs are good.
Excellent food! Especially if you like it hot. Great flavors and quality.
Very good food and very nice to take your
Los Dos Molinos came highly recommend by a Phoenix local who said they made the best margaritas in the city. He was right! All their food is made pretty spicey, and it is delicious. Their chips come with with 2 homemade salsas...both amazing. Cheese dip was very spicy...perfect! Get there...you won't be disappointed!
BEST FOOD IN ARIZONA!!!!! I GREW UP ON THE FLOUTAS AND GUACAMOLE AND SOUR CREAM COMBO PLATE, BEST PLACE IN THE WORLD!! AND IVE BEEN AROUND THE WORLD!!! BEST PLACE, FRIENDLY SERVICE, GREAT STAFF!!! THANK YOU LOS DOS MOLINOS!!! ALWAYS QUALITY!!!!!! GREAT PRICES FOR THE BEST FOOD YOU WILL EVER TASTE!!!!
Good service! Authentic feel, nice atmosphere. Spicy food.
Omigosh the enchiladas here are soooo good. The sauce is really different like sort of smokey and almost like a mole. The decor is really cute too. It's all cowboy themed. The service was pretty slow, but that sauce was too good not to give five stars. The shredded beef was amazing too.
This place is easily my favorite Mexican place in Phoenix. You cannot go wrong on any of their dishes. The shredded beef melts in your mouth.
Great food, especially the green chili. It is the real deal. One of the best, if not the best, places in Phoenix to get real Mexican food.
Great food had the garlic roast pork tacos salad. Best taco salad I've had on a long time . Salsa was to spicy for me but others loved it. There were 10 of us and waitress was very helpful and service was great. Going back soon. 😊
Food was excellent. The service was great. 👍👍
The Authentic flavor of New Mexican food! So delicious, very spice! The real taste of New Mexico!. Service is always great! We always go when we crave for some real New Mexican food.
The salsa, red and green, are both yummy. I love hot salsa and I normally have to ask at other places for the hot salsa but this time I didn't even have to.We were given water at beginning of the visit but were never asked what we would like to drink.Service was okay at best and we had to literally ask if our order was ready and ask waiter for drinks
Delicious but spicyGive me more
